BRIEF

This mousepad design was created for a class competition, with the goal of making something that would resonate not just with our group, but with the entire graphic design student body. The project challenged us to think about broad appeal while still showing off our individual style. The design is an illustrated dog mid-shake, using a looser, painterly style to capture the energy and motion of the moment. Paired with the phrase “distortion makes things interesting,” the design plays with the idea that imperfections and movement can create something more engaging.
